Liverpool are reportedly preparing a £26million move for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud in January.
Express Sport revealed in September that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp sent scouts to watch Dahoud during Gladbach's 4-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Champions League.
And according to German newspaper Express, Liverpool are now ready to lodge an offer for the 20-year-old in the winter transfer window.

Liverpool are considering a raid on Manchester United for Luke Shaw, according to reports.
The 21-year-old has apparently fallen out with Jose Mourinho after being less than impressed with his comments to the media following United's 3-1 win over Swansea last weekend.
And the Mirror claim Liverpool could pounce as they look to find a first-choice left-back after playing James Milner in the position this season.
The report adds Shaw will cost around £29m to prise away from Old Trafford.

Liverpool are interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Jonathan Tah.
That is according to the Mirror, who claim Jurgen Klopp wants to bring the 20-year-old to Anfield in January to provide competition for Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip.
Tah has shone at Leverkusen in the heart of defence after signing for the Bundesliga side from Hamburg in a £7m deal last year.
