Leeds United England's 13th biggest club, according to Sky Sports study

Leeds face Liverpool in the EFL Cup quarter-final on Tuesday, live on Sky Sports 1 from 7.30 pm - but how big is the Yorkshire club?

Leeds have won three league titles during their 97-year history, in 1968/69, 1973/74 and 1991/92, and reached the Champions League semi-finals under manager David O'Leary in 2001.

Just four years later, Leeds were relegated from the Premier League and were demoted again to League One in 2007 after being deducted 10 points for entering administration.

But are Leeds a sleeping giant, ready to be woken amid takeover speculation? We've broken down their all-time and current successes into four categories to work it out...

LEAGUE POSITION

Since 1920, Leeds have featured in the top-flight for 50 seasons, 36 in tier two and three in the third. The club reached a 96-year low in 2007/08 when the Whites finished the season fifth in League One.

However, the club has bounced back since then and currently sit fifth in the Championship under new boss Garry Monk.

The Sky Sports Ultimate League, which ranks clubs annually by their average 50-year league position, suggests Leeds are the 13th biggest club in England with an average position of 17.66 - averaging at 19.33 since 1920.
