Klaven has figured on the bench mostly so far, but he can see the team has benefited massively from their hard work.
“Of course, I knew a little bit about how they played under him (Klopp), but I didn’t know the detail behind it,” Klavan told the club’s official website.
“We are working on detail behind it. We are working on detail all the time here and it takes time to get used to this.
“I have never played this kind of style - I was used to different styles of __football - so it was important we had a really good pre-season. We worked a lot in the summer.
“For me, I feel really lucky to be here every day playing for him and learning something new.”
The 31-year-old has made four appearances in the Premier League this term, with Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren preferred by Klopp.
However, the Reds have kept just one clean sheet in the top flight, and the Liverpool boss has outlined he wants to sharpen up his defence.
