We've got a round-up of Sky Bet's reaction to a weekend which was less than perfect for Lewis Hamilton and Manchester City.
Formula One
Lewis Hamilton is out to 6/4 to win a fourth successive world title after his hopes suffered a major blow during Sunday's Malaysian Grand Prix.
Hamilton's Mercedes suffered another engine failure - this time when he was leading the race - and failed to finish. Title rival and team-mate Nico Rosberg went on to claim third behind Daniel Ricciardo and duly opened a 23-point lead over Hamilton in the standings.
Rosberg is now an 8/15 chance to win his maiden World Championship crown.
The F1 circus heads to Japan for next weekend's race and Hamilton has already been installed as the 6/5 favourite to win there. Rosberg is rated a 2/1 chance with Ricciardo 11/2 for a repeat success.
The only other driver shorter than 16/1 is Ricciardo's Red Bull team-mate Max Verstappen. The youngster is 7/1 to go one better than his runner-up finish at Sepang.
Golf
Europe are 10/11 to win back the Ryder Cup in two years' time after they lost grip of the trophy for the first time since 2008 at Hazeltine on Sunday.
The United States' 17-11 victory was Europe's heaviest defeat for 35 years as Darren Clarke's side failed to overturn a three-point deficit in Sunday's 12 singles matches.
Although Europe won three of the first five matches convincingly, Patrick Reed edged a highly-charged opening contest with Rory McIlroy to strike a major psychological blow from which the holders never looked likely to recover.
Wins for Rickie Fowler, Brooks Koepka, Brandt Snedeker and Ryan Moore took the home side over the winning line and the final score of 17-11 was the biggest winning margin for the United States since a nine-point success at Walton Heath in 1981.
The United States are 6/5 to win the 2018 renewal at Le Golf National in France and 4/5 to lift the trophy while Sky Bet have also released prices of who will captain the two sides.
Thomas Bjorn is favourite at 4/6 to lead Europe ahead of Padraig Harrington at 3/1, while Jim Furyk heads the betting for the USA at 8/13, with Davis Love III priced at 5/1.
Football
Manchester City remain odds-on for the Premier League title but have been eased after suffering a first defeat of the season at Tottenham.
Pep Guardiola's men headed to White Hart Lane defending a perfect six from six record but suffered a 2-0 reverse and are trading at 10/11 for the title.
City still remain top of the table but Spurs are just one point behind and Mauricio Pochettino's outfit have seen their odds cut and are now 8/1.
Arsenal are also movers in a positive direction with the Gunners now 6/1 following their late success at Burnley.
Arsene Wenger's side seemed on the verge of settling for a draw at Turf Moor but they scrambled home a dramatic late winner to prevail 1-0 and sit in third place two points behind City.
Reigning champions Leicester were held to a 0-0 draw at home by Southampton and are out to the 500/1 mark as Liverpool hold second favouritism at 4/1 after they defeated Swansea 2-1 on Saturday.
Manchester United have been pushed out to 14/1 after a 1-1 draw at home to Stoke, while the Potters are out to 10/3 for relegation having registered back-to-back draws heading into the international break.
Burnley's setback means they are 8/13 for an immediate return to the Sky Bet Championship.
Horse Racing
Aidan O'Brien dominated the Arc with a 1-2-3 and a pair of his Chantilly stars have been cut for the Breeders' Cup Turf.
The Ballydoyle maestro saddled Found, Highland Reel and Order Of St George to fill the frame in the French Group One contest and the former is now 6/4 with Sky Bet to defend her crown at the start of next month.
Beaten favourite Postponed is 7/2, half a point shorter than Flintshire who disappointed on rain-softened ground in the US on Saturday. His conqueror Ectot is a 10/1 chance while Arc second Highland Reel is available at 6s.
Limato was an impressive winner of the Qatar Prix de la Foret over seven furlongs for Henry Candy and Harry Bentley and the July Cup hero has been cut across the board for the Breeders' Cup Mile.
He is now a 5/1 chance (from 11s) on what would be his first attempt at the trip since finishing fourth in the Lockinge Stakes at the start of the season while Alice Springs is 4/1 following her victory in the Sun Chariot.
California Chrome's position at the head of affairs for the Breeders' Cup Classic hardened with a smooth victory in the Awesome Again and he is now 11/10 but Beholder is out to 4/1 for the Breeders' Cup Distaff after a second successive defeat to Stellar Wind (7/2 from 5s) although both have 8/11 favourite Songbird to beat.
Godolphin's once-raced maiden winner Wuheida made it two from two in the Prix Marcel Boussac at Chantilly and she is now 10/1 favourite for the 2017 Qipco 1000 Guineas and 14/1 second favourite for the Investec Oaks.
Rugby League
Wigan are through to a fourth successive Grand Final after coming through an epic semi-final against Hull 28-18. The Warriors will face Warrington who booked their place with an 18-10 victory over St Helens.
Sky Bet have installed Warrington as their 4/5 favourites ahead of Wigan who are evens, while it's 10/11 each of two with a handicap line of 2.
Rugby Union
Wasps served up a seven-try show as they brushed aside Harlequins 47-18 at the Ricoh Arena to make it five wins from five in the Aviva Premiership - but it's still Saracens who head the betting after bouncing back to form at Bristol.
The 10/11 Grand Final favourites ran out 39-0 winners on Friday night and they are clear of Wasps at 9/4 with Exeter - 6/1 - the only other side in single figures.
American Football
The Carolina Panthers' poor start to the season continued as they crashed to a third defeat in four matches after going down 48-33 to the Atlanta Falcons.
It was also a bad night for 2015 Super Bowl champions the New England Patriots as their 100 per cent record went up in smoke in a 16-0 loss to the Buffalo Bills - but they remain Sky Bet's 4/1 favourites for the Super Bowl.
New England, who will be able to welcome back star quarterback Tom Brady after his four-game suspension next week, had never before been shut out at Gillette Stadium since moving there in 2002 but the Bills did just that to move to 2-2 for the season.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are next in the betting at 7/1 after bouncing back strongly from their worst defeat in 27 years. The Steelers lost 34-3 to the Pittsburgh Eagles last weekend but it was a different story this time around as they beat the Kansas City Chiefs 43-14.
