Tottenham's Danny Rose speaks to Sky Sports News HQ ahead of a clash with Leicester

Danny Rose has challenged Tottenham to extend their unbeaten start to the season ahead of a gruelling November schedule.

Spurs are the only Premier League side not to have not tasted defeat this season, with Mauricio Pochettino's men currently a point off the summit in fifth position, although that record is set for its sternest test with a daunting set of fixtures facing the north London club next month.

In addition to Champions League ties with Bayer Leverkusen and Monaco, Spurs have three London derbies to contend with next month, with trips to Arsenal and Chelsea sandwiching West Ham's visit to White Hart Lane.

Rose feels positive results from such a gruelling run of games could prove crucial in Spurs' push for a maiden Premier League title.

"They are three massive games, not only because they're London derbies but because Chelsea and Arsenal will be up there come the end of the season," Rose exclusively told Sky Sports.

"If we don't win any of those games we could be quite far behind Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool, so even though it's early days, November is a very important month for this __football club."

Tottenham welcome champions Leicester City to White Hart Lane on Saturday and will be aiming to avenge a 1-0 defeat at home to the Foxes in January. Despite pushing Leicester closest for the title last season, Tottenham's challenge ended painfully with a draw at Chelsea before their final-day capitulation at Newcastle.

Consecutive draws away to West Brom and Bournemouth have led some to question Spurs' ability to last the distance in this year's title race, but with the club sitting just one point off leaders Manchester City, Rose insists there is still plenty more to come from them this season.

"As a team we've not quite hit the heights of last season," the left-back admitted. "I'd say we're still in third gear and there's still a lot more to come from us.

"We lost the league last season and the manager wants us to use that as motivation.

"We've started the season OK and we want to continue our unbeaten run and see where that takes us.

"I don't agree with the claim this is our last chance to win the league for a while, if you see what we did to Man City it shows we can still mix it with the best teams in the league.

"We've given ourselves a great platform to push on this season."
