And Tottenham defender Davies wants to see that sort of reaction again.
"This is the same position we were in after that England game in the summer," said Davies, who along with his team-mates visited Aberfan Memorial Gardens on Monday to mark the 50th anniversary of the disaster.
"It's still early days in the group and it's a game we really need to get ourselves together for. We have to look back at what went wrong and rectify it."
