Transfer News: Huge Arsenal hint, Chelsea and Man Utd in £90m battle, Man City £150m spree

Ivan Gazidis has dropped the biggest hint yet that Arsene Wenger may not be Arsenal manager next season.

Wenger, who has just passed 20 years at Arsenal, is out of contract at the Emirates next summer.

And Gunners chief executive Gazidis has admitted for the first time that the club may be planning for life after the Frenchman.

“Arsenal is not Arsene Wenger,” he said. “They're not one in the same thing.

"He's been clear and we've always been clear, that's a mutual decision as to how long he'll continue.

"Both need to be on the same page on that. In a __football sense, he has transformed the club.”

Antoine Griezmann is wanted by Manchester United and Chelsea

Chelsea are ready to battle Manchester United for £90million Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann, according to reports.

The Telegraph say Chelsea are prepared to pay Griezmann’s £89.7million (€100m) release clause at Atletico.

But Manchester United are also keen on the France star and hope Paul Pogba - a close friend of the forward - can help swing the deal in their favour.

Manchester City are reportedly plotting a fresh £150million spending spree under Pep Guardiola.

City handed Guardiola £175m last summer to bring in John Stones, Ilkay Gundogan, Leroy Sane, Claudio Bravo and Nolito.

And according to the Daily Mirror, Guardiola will be given more funds and has Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin (£40m), Juventus centre-back Leonardo Bonucci (£60m) and Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£50m) on his wishlist.
