It took a while but Liverpool finally ground out their fourth consecutive victory courtesy of Roberto Firmino and James Milner.

Swansea will be understandably devastated but in truth, they failed to maintain the high standard they set in the first-half and weren't clinical when the opportunities arose.

Francesco Guidolin says losing today's Premier League encounter against Liverpool could signal the end of his stay at Swansea following their poor start to the season.

When asked if he could be sacked if Swansea lose today, Guidolin said: "Maybe. Could be. It could happen.

RETIREMENT

Think the world of __football will need a box of tissues when reading Jurgen Klopp's recent comments.

The German says he could see himself ending his managerial career with Liverpool and expects that to be in the next decade!

Lucky beggar.

He told Germany's RedaktionsNetwerk: " I certainly will return to Germany to live, but I don't know if I will be back there as a coach yet.

"The day will come when I say, 'thanks, it was a pleasure.' It's very, very unlikely that I will still be sitting on the bench when I am 60.

"And, if at the end of my career I only got to coach Mainz, Dortmund and Liverpool, then it will certainly have been three fantastic clubs."
