Soccer Saturday Price Boost

Backers of the Soccer Saturday Price Boost were in clover again as their 7/1 treble came good.

The Chelsea, Newcastle and Huddersfield win treble delivered, having been boosted by Sky Bet from 5/1.

Chelsea led the way with a convincing 2-0 victory at Hull in the Premier League with Willian and Diego Costa finding the target.

Championship high-fliers Huddersfield won 1-0 at Ipswich, while Newcastle enjoyed success by the same scoreline at Rotherham to complete the treble and generate a tasty profit for punters.

It was the second time in a week that such a bet had come good with Tuesday's Soccer Special Price Boost of wins for Leicester, Spurs and Juventus in the Champions League having returned at odds of 15/2.

Sky Bet spokesman Sandro Di Michele said: "It's been a painful week for us but these Price Boosts are what our customers enjoy and we always want to offer them a good price.

"With there being several good games on Sunday, including Spurs v Man City, our traders will be hoping for better results."

The Soccer Saturday Price Boost will return next weekend with another bet being unveiled by the online bookmaker on Friday.

Premier League

Liverpool are 9/2 second favourites to win the Premier League with Sky Bet after moving second in the table thanks to a 2-1 win at Swansea.

The Reds came from behind with goals from Roberto Firmino and James Milner, the latter from the penalty spot, taking them within two points of leaders Manchester City, who have a game in hand. City head to Tottenham on Sunday.

City remains odds-on - at 4/6 - but that could change if they drop their first points of the season at White Hart Lane. They have won six out of six thus far and another victory would see them close in on the best-ever Premier League start which was made by Chelsea in 2005/06 when they won their opening nine fixtures.

Arsenal are 8/1 third favourites, just ahead of Manchester United at 9/1. Chelsea, 2-0 winners at Hull on Saturday, and Tottenham are both 16/1 chances.

At the other end of the table, Sunderland remain odds-on for the drop despite picking up a point with a 1-1 home draw with West Brom to climb off the bottom of the table.

The Black Cats are 8/11 shots with Burnley 4/5 and Hull 5/6. Swansea come next in the market at 7/4 with West Ham, who have still only won once this season following a 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough, offered at 9/2. The Hammers remain the drop zone with Swansea above the line only on goal difference.

Current basement-dwellers Stoke, who face Manchester United on Sunday, are 11/4 chances.

Sky Bet Championship

With the teams at the head of the betting all winning, there's little change in the outright betting where Newcastle retain favouritism at evens, with Norwich 5/2, Brighton 6/1 and Huddersfield 16/1.

Rotherham are now as short as 1/4 to be relegated (from 1/3). Blackburn are back into 11/10 for relegation from 5/4 following their 1-0 loss to Birmingham. Burton recorded their third win of the season by beating Cardiff 2-0 at the Pirelli Stadium and have been pushed out to 3/1 for the drop from 2/1. Cardiff still sit bottom and are now a 9/4 shot to go down.

Sky Bet League One

Scunthorpe are now 11/4 from 7/2 for the League One crown after they beat Bury 2-1 in the top-of-the-table clash. Bradford also continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 1-0 win away at Chesterfield and are now 4/1 second favourites. Pre-season jollies Sheffield United have been eased again from 15/2 to 10/1 following their draw against Fleetwood.

Shrewsbury are now odds-on (10/11) to be relegated after they drew 1-1 at home with fellow strugglers Swindon. Oldham's poor form continued with a 2-0 loss at home to MK Dons. The Latics now sit at the bottom of League One and have shortened to 5/6 from 6/5 for relegation.

Sky Bet League Two

Doncaster are 11/4 favourites for the League Two title following a 2-1 win at Portsmouth. Back-to-back defeats see Pompey drift to 3/1. Leaders Plymouth's 4-1 win over struggling Yeovil now makes them 9/2 for the title.

Exeter have shortened to 9/2 from 6/1 for relegation after a fourth defeat in five games.
