League Two round-up: Carlisle continue unbeaten start with club record in sight

Goals from skipper Danny Grainger and two from veteran Jason Kennedy secured victory. And if they avoid defeat against Hartlepool next week they will equal a club-record 13 games without losing.

But Curle said: “The lads deserve a great deal of praise for the run they are on. We know that next week we could match a club record of unbeaten games but we are only focused on the three points that are available.”

Darren Ferguson hailed Doncaster’s self-belief after they snatched a stoppage-time winner against Barnet.

Rovers were cruising at half-time after strikes from James Coppinger and Matty Blair.

But Barnet looked to have snatched a late point when substitute Luke Gambin equalised after Bira Dembele had pulled a goal back.

However, Andy Williams struck at the death to secure the 3-2 win and Ferguson said: “We’ve shown the belief that we are going to win games.
