Francesco Guidolin uncertain over Swansea future after Liverpool loss: Ryan Giggs linked

Swansea have won just one Premier League game this season and have four points on the board from a possible 21.

The Italian admitted in the week that a loss against Liverpool could be the final nail in the coffin for his Swansea career and it has been reported the Welsh club's chairman Huw Jenkins has lined up Ryan Giggs as a possible replacement.

Swansea took the lead at the Liberty Stadium through Leroy Fer but Roberto Firmino and a James Milner penalty turned the game around in the second half.

And Guidolin felt the result was harsh on his side and revealed he has a good relationship with the players amid speculation over his future.

"I don't know [if I will be sacked]. It's not my decision. It's just for me to prepare for the game and the team. I know the situation. It's a possibility. The important thing to prepare with patience," Guidolin told Sky Sports.

"Before the game I saw the new owners Jason (Levien) and Steve (Kaplan) just to say 'hello'. I don't know if in the next day there's meeting.
