John Stones is an issue for Manchester City, says Chris Sutton
Stones joined City for £50million this summer and has slotted straight into Pep Guardiola’s side.
But Sutton thinks his constant attempts to play out from the back are hindering the side.
“He is an issue for me because he never kicks the ball into touch,” Sutton said on BT Sort.

“It becomes readable. He’s not playing against mugs.
“When a centre-forward knows you’re not going to kick the ball into the stand, they know you’re going to do a trick - he did it at the weekend in the first half early on.
“The ball was nicked off him on the byline and that’s too much of a risk and that is City’s problem because going forward, OK you can argue that sometimes the final touch isn’t there, but going forward at the weekend against Chelsea they could have been three or four up and out of sight.”
City went one up after a Gary Cahill only goal but Chelsea came back to win 3-1 and are now three points clear at the top of the Premier League.
