Anthony Martial has admitted he has found being in and out of the Manchester United side this season ‘annoying’.
The Frenchman has struggled to reproduce the form of his first campaign at Old Trafford and has started less than half of United's 16 Premier League games this season.
Martial started in United's 1-0 home win over Tottenham last Sunday, before sitting out the 2-1 victory at Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.
The 21-year-old told French broadcaster SFR Sport: "It's annoying to be on the bench, it's truly annoying, but it's a test you have to overcome and that's how you progress.
"It's difficult because all you want is to be able to help the team and when you're on the bench you can't.

"But these are choices and you have to accept it."
Zlatan Ibrahimovic's summer arrival from Paris Saint Germain - and the Swede's impressive goalscoring form - has limited Martial's opportunities in United's forward line.
Despite the youngster finding himself squeezed out more often than not, he remains committed to living up to his hefty price tag and fulfilling his potential at Old Trafford.
"People expect a lot of me, but sometimes they forget I'm still young," he added, ahead of Saturday's trip to West Brom.
"Everyone can think what they want, it won't change anything."
