Antonio Conte is looking to return to winning ways against Leicester

Chelsea are without Diego Costa who has been dropped following reported bust-up in training with Antonio Conte and a coach.

Leicester striker Leonardo Ulloa is out with a thigh injury but Jamie Vardy returns.

However, the Foxes are heavily depleted by the Africa Cup of Nations, with Riyad Mahrez, Islam Slimani and Daniel Amartey all out.

Claudio Ranieri said: "Chelsea lost to Tottenham after 13 [consecutive wins] - amazing achievement. We expect a lot from them but we are ready to fight and win.

"I expect a strong reaction from them. They are old champions and they want to make up for defeat."

Antonio Conte said: "The Leicester game is very important for us to restart to win.

"I consider them [Leicester] a really good team with good players, strong players, players with talent and technique, a good mix. They have a great manager."
