Chelsea succumbed to a shock 2-1 loss as struggling Palace came away with all three points at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
It was the Blues first beating at home since mid-September when Jurgen Klopp’s side won by the same scoreline.
A week after Liverpool’s triumph, Chelsea were seen off 3-0 at Arsenal, before Conte changed formation and his team’s fortunes.
The Blues have enjoyed overwhelming success otherwise and sit seven points clear at the top, even after the Palace result.
Antonio Conte has seen a big change in his players since September, despite Chelsea's loss to Palace
Chelsea were dominant against Sam Allardyce’s men but could not find a route to goal on a rare off day.
However, looking back on the troubles earlier this season, Antonio Conte sees a clear change in performance levels.
“This defeat is totally different if you compare with the Liverpool defeat, or the Arsenal defeat,’ Conte said.

Now I think we were another team and we are a strong team
Antonio Conte
“Because now I think we were another team and we are a strong team.
“Saturday for sure was not our day because we created a lot of chances to score a goal and we dominated the game, and when you lose this type of game in your mind you try to answer a lot of questions.
“But it is very difficult to find the right one for this result.”
Chelsea will look to bounce back immediately when they host Manchester City tomorrow evening (8pm).
