In an attempt to scupper Barcelona’s transfer plans, they are also set to try and lure Juventus’ Paulo Dybala to the Bernabeu.

Barcelona are thought to be keen on the 23-year-old as he has been viewed as a long-term successor to his Argentine compatriot Lionel Messi.

But Diario Gol claim Real are intent on stopping Dybala linking up with Messi at the Nou Camp.

Should a move for Dybala fail, Real will turn their attention to Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe or Borussia Dortmund hitman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
